Groups take place weekly, on Tuesdays, in person in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, for 10 weeks. I try to schedule group at a time that works for the most people. If I get enough people who want a virtual group, I can offer that.
Groups are 60 or 90 minutes depending on the number of members. -
The primary goal of this group is to help moms support one another. It's a process group, which means that there will be time for people to talk about what is challenging for them and for other members to give support.
(This is different from a psycho educational group, in which the focus is on specific skill building and learning information).
And we'll talk about what giving and receiving support means for each person. That said, it won't just be a free for all.
Group rules will be discussed at the first group. Each session we will do a check in, which is a briefly answered question (one word - one sentence), and often we'll do a check out. Examples of check in: "What's a theme song that captures how you feel right now?" Check out: "What's one thing you'll take with you from group today?"
Each person's goal in group may be different -- some are there to practice self-care; some to learn how to ask for or receive help; some to identify how they feel or what they need; some to get community; some to get ideas on surviving parenthood. Or perhaps all of those!
My role is to give us structure, set the rules, and intentionally pose questions, thoughts, or suggestions that I think may be helpful. Generally I hold the space for group members and am a helpful, supportive presence. -
The primary goal of this group is to support people in grief. It's a process group, which means that there will be time for people to talk about what is meaningful - which is often what is also challenging - for them and for other members to give support.

Group Intake = $50. Virtual and 30 minutes.
Cost per group session: $50 for 60 minute groups; $65 for 90 minute groups.
I will decide the time duration based on how many members we have.
-
Group Intake: Meet with me individually for about half an hour. This is a virtual meeting, lasts about 30 minutes, and costs $50. Reach out to me here.
There will be forms to fill out. I'll give you information about the group and ask you some mental health questions, learn your interest in group, get to know you a little bit.
You'll also have a chance to ask some questions and get a sense of me. You are under no obligation to continue with group if you do not want to; it's all voluntary.
